The 2010 121st Rose Bowl Parade Honors Past Games

The Rose Bowl honored four games on a float during the 121st Rose Bowl Parade. The first image depicts the first Rose Bowl game in 1902, in which the University of Michigan beat Stanford 49-0. The second depicts the 1916 Rose Bowl game, in which Washington State beat Brown University, 4-0. Wallace Wade, who later coached the Crimson Tide, played in that ball game. The third image depicts the 1923 USC vs. Penn State game in which USC claimed its first Rose Bowl victory. USC has appeared in more Rose Bowl games than any other team. The fourth image depicts the 1931 Alabama vs. Washington State game, in which Alabama claimed a 24-0 win in the 17th Rose Bowl game.
